Needs Assessments
Before confirming content for professional development programs, BAWP visits sites or conducts virtual discussions to gain a sense of the teacher community. We host teacher conversations to hear firsthand what’s working in classrooms and what challenges teachers face. We believe when teachers have a hand in the decisions that affect them, we can design workshops that are especially relevant, meaningful, and productive.
LCAP Planning Cycles
BAWP can partner with schools during annual Fall and Spring LCFF reviews to assess prior progress and plan for next LCAP/Annual Updates using data and self-reflection from the LCFF Evaluation Rubric. BAWP can assist schools in taking action in response to data, and co-plan targeted professional development for continuing fiscal years.
