The Invitational Summer Institute in the Teaching of Writing

BAWP’s annual Invitational Summer Institute is an opportunity to look closely at both your own writing and student writing, to explore issues and ideas in the teaching of writing, to work toward becoming teacher leaders, and to share classroom practices or activities. Fellows who complete the annual institute become teacher-consultants (TCs) of the Bay Area and National Writing Projects and a member of a vibrant community of educators.
